There's no reason not to know where I am headed, unaware all the while of the traps and false alarms.

I'm not quite sure how to handle awkward situations.
Always finding footing on unsteady soil, sinking in the quicksand - the overwhelming guilt of doing the right thing, but being the bearer of bad news.
