Track Name: Morning
All the time, the time goes by before I realize the things that I've thought

To define ideas that seem to fall in place, align without much at all.

Make some sense, I guess,
but only after spilling out all over a page.

Funny how what I intended can just
reinvent itself on the way.

Desire to see the best in everything

I'd like to take a rest, forever sing.

And I know now what tomorrow's gonna bring;

Oh, the morning will only ever just catch up with you before you know.

The evening is gonna fall right into view.
Track Name: Heat-soaked
We laid in your heat soaked room

Past noon, past due, knowing what would happen.
Inevitability looming, choosing silence to occupy our time.

Placidity taking the place of all too consistent arguments
In an ideal world,

Intertwined, curious where the dividing line will lie tonight.

Losing light, gaining sense of wrong and what is right, see the other side.

I might be putting off intimidating things, for a good reason.
Chances given, waiting for change.
Knowing the visible difference can be made.

I've been frightened, I've been scared.

Leaving rushed and unprepared,

I'm not always aware
of whatever's in there.
Track Name: Intuition
Cognisance is meant to bend, flex.

Intent on staying in context.

There's no reason not to know where I am headed, unaware all the while of the traps and false alarms.

"Stay passive, keep ahead" is not where I'm coming from.

Deviate from course, learn lessons like I should've all along.

Easier said than thought. Sell me what can't be taught; intuition.
Track Name: Freakin' Me Out
Never will say my fears aloud. I'm coming down.

Never will wear my records out, more foresighted now.

Look at the moon, tell me the truth, how do you feel?

I spoke too soon, dunno about you. Speaking of which.

I'm not quite sure how to handle
awkward situations.

Always finding footing on unsteady soil,
sinking in the quicksand - the overwhelming guilt
of doing the right thing, but being the bearer of bad news.

It's freakin me out, it's gettin me down, you better believe.
We'll probably just talk, and then brush it off, no need for these.

I'm asking you please, get off of your knees, stand up for yourself.

I will.
